1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?

A while.

2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?

Yes.

4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?

5. Where can interested readers find more of your work?

The internet.

1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?
I started out when I was eleven, so for roughly about eleven years.

2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?
Indeed I have! I actually started out in te Digimon fandom, and have progressed steadily outwards into Harry Potter, Supernatural, Stargate: Atlantis and Heroes. I know that that's a huge gap between Digimon and Harry Potter but I couldn't halp myself :D I was a kid too, you know!

3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?
That there is so much diversity amongst the fans. The fanwank and ship wars nothwithstanding, people are extremely friendly in the fandom, and they're all willing to contribute in every form. I'm constantly amazed by the turnout of fic, art and all sorts of media alike. I hope it continues :D

The friends I've made a long the way are a big help too!

4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst?
Play top your strengths, right? I am a hopeless romantic, but only when I'm reading. Otherwise? I write angst better. :D

5. Where can interested readers find more of your work? On my eljay, here.

My pseud 'Rachael Sabotini' is a riff off of Raphael Sabatini, the author of Scarmouche, Captain Blood, and many other swashbuckling novels, and my lj name 'WickedWords' is both a book about Curses, Insults, Put-Downs, and Other Formerly Unprintable Terms and a line of erotica novels I'll leave you to guess which one I pulled off the shelf when I was trying to figure out a name for my lj.

Both names seem too long for email, so I usually go by rache.

1. How long have you been writing fan fiction?
Just over five years (I think I posted my first fic in March or April of 2002). I knew about fanfic before that, but just wasn't interested in it.

2. Have you participated in any other fandoms?
I'm participating in other fandoms right now. :D I was monofannish with my first fandom, Vampire Chronicles, but after a year I went multifannish and have never looked back. I've written fic in twenty different FPF fandoms, as well as LotRiPS, Jude Law/Ewan McGregor RPS, and various other RPF pairings.

I also spent three years or so heavily active in Digimon fandom, but I was never into fanfic.

3. What do you enjoy most about SGA and/or SGA fandom?
That it's large and active, but fairly centralised. I've written quite a bit of HP fic as well, and participated in fests, but I find it hard to really feel a part of the fandom because it's so fractured. The one thing I do miss about HP in SGA is the love for other pairings. I like John/Rodney, obviously, or I wouldn't be taking place in this fest, but it's a shock coming from a fandom where there are multiple popular pairings to one where there's one big one and all the others are teensy tiny, even if they're with the main characters.

4. Why did you choose to join Team Angst/Team Romance?
Team Romance wasn't even a consideration. I knew that if I didn't get a slot on Team Angst, I wouldn't be able to participate. I just really tend towards the angsty.

5. Where can interested readers find more of your work?
My old website hasn't been updated since last year, and I'm in the process of moving everything to a new one, but it's been slow-going. Presently all my fics can be found in my tags, though.
